Kerry and Mrs. Bush
On December 3, 2003, Kerry was invited to The White House for a Christmas party given by First Lady Laura Bush. The reception honored American decorative artists whose painted ornaments were chosen to hang on The White House Christmas Tree. Artists were chosen from each state, and Kerry proudly represented her home state of Indiana.
